Depot Eligibility Criteria and Depot Collection Procedures
The SK Recycles approved program plan outlines an overall transition to the new full EPR program for managing household packaging and paper. Phase 3 of this transition targets those collectors currently delivering depot recycling programs to households. Phase 3 is scheduled to launch February 1, 2027.
In order to determine the most effective way to continue with depot-based recycling under the new SK Recycles program, SK Recycles has developed a set of draft eligibility criteria and operating standards, policies and procedures. Please see the information below for more information and be sure to submit your feedback on or before February 13, 2026. Your feedback is very important as it informs SK Recycles on the best way to incorporate depot recycling programs in a way that will be most effective for the program and collectors as well.
