SK Recycles established the Elders Advisory Committee, Kahteyak (“The Ones Who Know”), to ensure that Indigenous wisdom, cultural teachings and ways of knowing help guide our approach to recycling and environmental stewardship in First Nations communities.
The committee provides a space for Elders to share their knowledge, lived experiences and perspectives while helping SK Recycles develop culturally meaningful education, engagement, and recycling initiatives.
