Program Plan (2024)
In May 2024, The Saskatchewan Ministry of Environment approved our Household Packaging and Paper Stewardship Plan , initiating the shift to a full EPR mode for household packaging and paper. The Program Plan was developed as a result of Saskatchewan releasing the Household Packaging and Paper Stewardship Program Regulations, 2023.

Program Plan (2015)
In October 2015, Saskatchewan Ministry of Environment approved the Waste Packaging and Paper Stewardship Plan, submitted by Multi-Material Stewardship Western. The approved plan fulfills the obligations set out in the regulation on behalf of its members.
Program Plan (2013)
In December 2013, Saskatchewan Ministry of Environment 2013 Waste Packaging and Paper Stewardship Plan, submitted by Multi-Material Stewardship Western in August and revised in December 2013. The plan was developed by representatives from Retail Council of Canada, Food and Consumer Products of Canada, and the Canadian Food and Restaurant Association.
